Stormakt pulls out a W after 3 overtimes

Icon hosted a really competitive match vs stormakt on Mother’s day then ended after 3 overtimes on nuke of CEVO-Main, week 1.2.  Great play all around from all players from both teams.  Stormakt is now 2-0 leading cevo-main in first place as of Sunday, 5/11/2008.

Stormakt kicks off cevo-main 1-0

Stormakt started off the season against negativeimact on nuke for week 1.1.  Stormakt took a 7-5 lead while starting on the offense of nuke.  Had a strong offense and an easy defense half of 6-2.

Final score: 13-7

Stormakt is scheduled to play their week 1.2 match against ikon, a team that particpated at TheGXL with stormakt, on Sunday.  SourceTV should be available for the match.

Stormakt places 2nd at TheGXL

We placed 2nd out of 15 teams at TheGXL on April 26th, 2008.  We Went untouched through group play and made it past a somewhat strong Check6.  We lost on the 3rd map in the bo3 against WJGSM in the finals.  It was a fun tournament and we got $400 for our 2nd place effort.  Our roster was the following:
